There are thousands of trees on Linfield’s campus …
… but one only can be the most Majestic
Oct. 15-22 is Majestic Tree Week at Linfield University
Drawing on inspiration from Katmai National Park’s Fat Bear Week, Majestic Tree Week is a bracket tournament-style competition among eight spectacular campus specimens.
Everyone is invited to the Majestic Tree Walk, which begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13 in front of T.J. Day Hall.
Voting happens via the @majestictreeweek Instagram beginning Sunday, Oct. 15. May the most majestic win!

Meet the trees
Meet 8 of the trees from throughout Linfield’s campus that were chosen carefully by the environmental advocacy class as tough competitors for the 2023 most Majestic Tree.
Voting
Voting begins the 15th of October, and will continue every day on the @linfieldmajestictreeweek Instagram story poll until the winner is announced on the 21st of October. The victory photo and celebration for any groups that had endorsed the winning tree will be scheduled to fit the majority’s needs.
