By giving disgraced former president Donald Trump a platform to promote his lies about the last election and his support of seditious extremists, Chancellor Sean Parnell has brought shame upon our state, our city and the University of Alaska. The right of free speech only goes so far, and the former president has taken it beyond the bounds. He who would destroy our constitutional right to be governed by the consent of the governed does not deserve the protection of the Constitution.
