A Challenge Awaits!

The Whiteface Uphill Foot Race will be Saturday, June 1 at 5:30 p.m. Climb 3,500 feet over 8 miles up the scenic Whiteface Mountain Veterans Memorial Highway to the top of New York’s 5th highest peak for a 360° panoramic view of the Adirondacks, New England and Canada. Race Details

• The race starts at the intersection of Rt 431 and Rt 86. Staging is in the Adirondack Chocolates parking lot.

• Packet pick-up and parking will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Preston Festival Field, 1135 Springfield Road, Wilmington, NY (just around the corner from the starting line).

• Packet will include your bib, t-shirt and meal voucher.

• There will be a bag drop vehicle at the starting line if you desire a change of clothes for the top. Please make sure you have your name and phone number on or in the bag.

• You may have someone meet you at the top. We will sell spectator passes at registration. These are cash only and a per person price. We will also have limited shuttle service for those who don’t have a support vehicle for their descent down the mountain. If you will need to use this service, please indicate this on your registration.
