Bio

I have joined the Aghaeepour lab as postdoctoral fellow in August 2020. Prior to joining the lab, I completed my PhD in Biostatistics and Epidemiology at UCL (UK) under the supervision of Prof. Caroline A. Sabin. I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy): a BSc and a MSc in Statistics, both completed with honors.

Research interests

During my PhD, my research focused on the use of novel analytical methods tailored to the high-dimensional data originated from systems immunology, wearable technologies, neuro-imaging modalities, and clinical studies. More recently, I became interested in the application of machine learning and deep learning to exploit large and high-dimensional data in order to address clinically-relevant problems.

I am the happiest when I play soccer, when I cycle, when I play with my nephews and when my code works.
