Craig has spent over 25 years in the FS industry as an adviser, regulator, consultant and now the Group Conduct and Compliance Director at Phoenix.

In his role, he leads a team located across the UK providing advice, guidance and challenges to the Phoenix trading and service business units.  He has a particular passion for the customer, stemming from his time at the FSA where he helped set up the first ‘Financial Capability’ work. 

This passion continues where he leads on Consumer Duty, is a member of Phoenix Vulnerable Customer steering committee, and outside of the day job he is a trustee on the national charity Volunteering Matters. A keen golfer, follower of Scotland rugby and season ticket holder at Ibrox, Craig lives in the west of Edinburgh with his wife Nicky and their black Labrador Angus.
